“I find it hard to maintain relationships, so joining a hookup site is the practical solution for me, and even better when the site is called Sexfinder! Upon signing up, I saw detailed profiles and very sensual individuals. I’ll be honest and say, it was overwhelming. But when I decided to just interact and forget about the quizzes and whatnots, I found that it was fun and easy. Paying for services was a good move, but I did have a nice time hitting it up with local users even when I wasn’t spending.” Martin, 28

Most Sexfinder members avail of the Gold Membership, which covers 1, 3, and 12 months. Aside from this paid subscription, Sexfinder also offers other features:
- Points
Points are Sexfinder’s currency. Spending it allows you to get additional features, send virtual presents, and interact with live cam models.
- Search Highlight
Sexfinder offers a Search Highlight feature to ensure you rank higher in searches.
- Adult Movies
At Sexfinder, you can also access, stream, or download almost 2000 quality adult movies.
- Private Chat Room
This feature is like hosting an epic party, only that it’s virtual and therefore relatively easy to set up. Play as the flirty and welcoming host when you subscribe to this feature.
Offering these features outside the subscription is rather flexible. That way, you don’t need to be a Gold member to purchase any add-ons if you don't plan to stay long.
But if you want to use the website at its fullest potential, we recommend subscribing to Gold membership. Doing so may greatly increase your chances of getting in touch with likeable members.
If you want to cancel your subscription, the process is quite simple: make sure to turn off the Auto-Renew function. If you don't want to finish the entire subscription term, you can also contact customer service to fast-track the cancelation.

Who is signed up on Sexfinder in New Zealand?
Exclusively on DatingScout: online member numbers for dating services are usually far off, so we estimate how many people are really on Sexfinder from traffic data and interest, updated monthly, with history.
Males aged 25 years old and above are the most active users of Sexfinder. This comes as no surprise; this is the period when a man’s libido is said to be at its peak.
Regardless of gender, the members of Sexfinder are looking forward to spicing up their sex lives. They want to satisfy their fetishes and fantasies and are very much open to trying out hot and unconventional bedroom activities.
It is also interesting to note that most users subscribe to a Gold Membership. It seems like members are willing to pay good money as long as their wants are met.
Props to Sexfinder for being inclusive to the rainbow community. They cater to gays, lesbians, trans, and the bi-curious.
With members’ ages ranging from 18 to as old as the 60s, there’s hopefully a bit of everything to meet everyone’s carnal cravings.
Sexfinder claims to introduce its users to like-minded and sexually charged individuals.
The site allows you to voice out and explore your most secret fantasies and fetishes. As it is open for singles, couples, swingers, and LGBT members, finding whatever floats your boat at Sexfinder is not impossible.

- Members can interact through the IM service
- Sending messages for free is not possible

The Sexfinder app
★★★★★ 3.0/5
- Available for iOS users only
- Free to download
- Mobile-friendly website for Android users
- Easy to use
- Features minimal ads
Sexfinder does offer a mobile app, but it is only available for iOS users. If you are an Android user, the website is mobile-friendly, so you can still log in with your smartphone whenever and wherever.
We reviewed the dating website’s mobile version and app, and they maintain most of the features and colour schemes on the desktop.
On mobile, however, Sexfinder enjoyed a modern upgrade. The website looks and feels sleeker when browsed via mobile, from the placement of the icons and features down to the fonts used.
What’s rather overwhelming on the desktop version is that the plentiful details look cramped. On mobile, it’s less wordy. Located at the bottom of the page are icons representing the search results, inbox, notifications, members' live broadcasts, and other contact features.
The quizzes, except for My Kinks, are noticeably absent from the mobile app. Other than that, you’re in for an almost ad-free and enjoyable mobile browsing experience.

Design & usability
Design-wise, Sexfinder features a simple and pretty straightforward interface. This is understandable considering that most users are age 25 and up, some may not be as tech-savvy.
Still, savvy or not, all members won’t have a problem accessing quality adult material. With the website’s Content Filter, a user can adjust the amount of erotic content they see on their feeds.
White is the predominant colour of the adult dating site, orange is used for message notifications, while red is for all other alerts.
Although it is straightforward, first-timers may find the site overwhelming. There are a lot of photos, texts, and tabs that can lead you elsewhere. All these tabs, however, bring you to features you can customise to suit your Sexfinder experience.
Similar to defunct social media platforms Friendster and MySpace, profiles are detailed. Messaging features, notifications, and the main tabs (My Stuff, Search, Live Action, Community, and What’s Hot) are all placed at the topmost portion of the dating site. The inbox sports a simple and familiar design.
Special features
Sexfinder does have a lot of features, and they are rather worth-noting:
Finding people 1
What’s HotFree
Stay up-to-date with the hottest members, photos, and videos at What’s Hot. You can also access the steamy Adult Movies when you visit this tab.
Profile and visibility 1
Multiple Accounts LinkingFree
Sexfinder is part of the Friendfinder Network, the very same company that is responsible for other adult dating and hookup websites like Alt.com and AdultFriendFinder.
With the multiple accounts linking feature, you get to display your other accounts. That way, it makes networking easier as some members may recognise you from one of the other Friendfinder Network websites.
Community and events 2
Live-Action
Live-Action is the tab to be, especially if you’re a standard account user looking for some real action.
- Live Models : This is your gateway to meeting professional live cam models who are putting on some sensual shows. Standard accounts can view live shows; other interactions will have their corresponding price tags.
- Live Member Webcams and Top Broadcasters: If you prefer amateurs, you can visit these tabs to take a look at your fellow member’s content. Standard accounts can view one broadcast a day.
- Adult Chat Rooms: Widen your network and join one or two based on your location or interest.
- Instant Messenger: If you’d rather go one-on-one, then you can try out the Instant Messenger. This service is available for all members. Everything’s good to go as long as the member you’re flirting with is online on IM.
CommunityFree
Sexfinder is a gathering of sexually active individuals and this aptly named tab sums up what the collective group can do together.
At the Community tab, you get access to the following:
- Blogs, Sexfinder Magazine, Groups, and Erotic Stories: Whether you’re a reader or a writer, or both, these features let you enjoy erotica at its most creative. Being an active contributor on these features also help you rub elbows with like-minded personalities that can potentially be a mind-blowing match.
- Contests: Meant to excite and rile up the members' competitive spirits, Contests are monthly affairs where Sexfinder encourages members to upload their best photo or video that is suitable for the theme. Standard account holders can view, like, comment, and cast a vote during a Contest.
- Sex Academy: For Gold members, the Sex Academy is home to tricks and tips one can learn and apply to their next bedroom session.
Final results
4.0
“With a large member count, multiple communication features, and a user-friendly interface, Sexfinder has the makings of a promising adult dating and hookup site. The users and their willingness to subscribe to a paid membership tell that you get more bang for your buck at Sexfinder.”
