Having been off and on NZD for years, it seems to have turned into a gay man's hook-up site. Even though you specify 'straight' as your sexual orientation, you still get offers from males trying to contact you for casual hook-ups, to the point where you have to block the gender from contacting you. I don't know if it's a general thing with gay men, but on a site where you specify 'straight,' you shouldn't have to learn how to block them.

It's not currently possible to put an NZDating account 'on hold', but it is possible to put an NZDating advert on hold. NZDating members can temporarily put their ad on hold by changing the 'Ad Status' on their Edit Profile page.
Putting a Gold member profile on hold does not also put Gold subscription on hold. Your Gold member subscription expiry date does not change.

Removing an account is permanent. Once an account has been removed, it cannot be restored.
Gold-member account removals are also permanent, and there are no refunds for removing a Gold-member account.
