You have to provide an email address where InterracialMatch will send a verification code that you need to input on the profile verification page. Plus, you are also required to upload a profile photo and write a profile headline and an introduction paragraph that will appear on your profile.

InterracialMatch aims to its security from fake profiles and catfishers by encouraging members to have their photo verified. Photo verification involves uploading your ID that proves that your profile photo is really yours. Should you choose to verify your photo, a Photo Verified icon will appear on your profile that other members can see.

While sending and replying to messages are only for premium members, there are still many contacting features you can use on InterracialMatch even without subscribing to their premium membership. First, you can send likes and winks to profiles that you’re interested in. Second, you can also comment on other members’ profiles, should they make commenting available. You can find this at the very bottom of each profile. 

Lastly, you can post Moments that are similar to social media updates. Moments may appear on the newsfeed of other members, and they can comment on them too. You could also comment on other members’ moments you find on your newsfeed.

    Member profiles in InterracialMatch can be very detailed should the user fill out every single profile information field. 

    Each profile consists of a profile headline and a short paragraph about him or herself, which the member wrote upon registration. All details you disclosed upon signing up, such as Gender, Location, Height, and Ethnicity, are automatically displayed. Plus, your ideal preferences regarding gender, age, and distance can be found on the first tab in your profile.

    There is a ‘More About Me’ section in InterracialMatch member profiles that shows further information about a member. This section is not required to be filled out. However, most members take the time to thoroughly complete their profiles and fill this section out.

    Profiles in InterracialMatch also has a ‘Moments’ tab. Moments is similar to posting updates on Facebook. If you post a moment, other members can see and comment on them whether they have a free or premium membership. Sometimes, your moments may also appear on other members’ news feeds.

    The mobile app of InterracialMatch is only available to download for Android users living in certain countries such as the United States, some countries in Europe and South America. Currently, the app has mixed reviews in Google Play Store – however, the developers seem to be working on each member’s complaint.

    The InterracialMatch app is a shortened version of the dating site. In the app, you won’t be able to browse profiles for free. Instead, you see profiles through a roulette-type matching (Spark). If you match with another member, you can start messaging each other.

    Membership is automatically renewed only for the 1-month membership. It renews every month for the same price until cancelled. 3-month and 6-month memberships do not renew.
