The features on NaughtyDate are very basic. You can browse through profiles, wink at members, and send short, flirty messages known as Flirtcasts. However, unless you are a premium member, you will only get five free chats. Only subscribed users get to have access to unlimited instant messaging. Despite that huge setback, free members can still view Activity, Friends, and Feed sections. This means that they get to see who browsed through their profile, who winked, or who sent a Flirtcast to them.
But are these functionalities worth paying for the subscription? We might be a bit reluctant to say yes to that. This was because not more than 24 hours after we created our account, we immediately received dubious 18 messages. We were a bit confused and took this as a warning sign of fake accounts.
We dug a little further and found this on the site's Terms and Conditions: "We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”). The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to enable us to ensure our Services are operating properly by testing the Services, features, and functionalities and to research our products and Services."
While the idea of "Staff Profiles" can be taken as beneficial, it would get anyone wondering that perhaps those 18 messages we had received all came from these so-called Staff Profiles and, perhaps, would stop messaging as soon as we registered to a premium account.

What was surprising was NaughtyDate's lack of sexually explicit photos. Compared to other adult dating sites, NaughtyDate looks pretty conservative. The women on the site are well-dressed. While they are up for a casual hookup, based on their profiles, they might also be up for a coffee-shop date or two. This attests to the site's commitment to its strict photo guidelines.
Another weakness we found on this dating website is the minimal information on the members' profiles. While you can add your details upon registration, you can skip this process and do it later. After that, no more prompts will come from the site itself. Therefore, we can attribute that as one of the factors that might have caused the incomplete NaughtyDate profiles.
