When you are both ready to take your virtual relationship to the next step, you can use the 'Set up a date' service.

This unique service allows you to visit a member’s country and organise an in-person date with the utmost comfort and safety. To request a meeting, you should do the following:

• Have your account verified with the 'ID Confirmation form' 
• 625 credits available on your account (NOTE: This fee doesn’t include your travel expenses and translation services. According to the site, the first hour of translation services is free. Additional hours are discussed with the member’s local partner separately.) 
• The member has to agree to meet you

If you meet all of the above requirements, visit the profile page of the member you’d like to meet. Next, click on the 'Set up a date' button in the middle part of the page; you will then be required to provide your contact details, as well as the proposed date and time of arrival to the member’s home city.

The local partner needs up to 72 hours to process the request. As soon as the meeting is confirmed or rescheduled, you will be notified about the change in the status of your request in your statistics menu in 'My meeting requests'. 

A specialist from the local partner’s side or a moderator may decline the meeting. In this case, the option 'Show reason' will appear next to your request. If the meeting is declined, 625 credits will be refunded back into your account.

After your request is approved by the member, our partners in the member’s home city will contact you to arrange all the details.

AsiaCharm offers two ways of starting a new conversation: letters and chats messages.

Letters are ideal for longer messages, such as introducing yourself, describing how your vacation went, and explaining what you are looking for in a partner. Also, letters allow you to attach up to 20 free photos.

Chat messages are suitable for day-to-day communications and short messages. Once you have chosen a member to chat with, visit their profile page to start chatting directly: 

• Type your message
• Click the ‘Send Message’ button or press ‘Enter’

NOTE: You can disable the ‘Enter’ button for sending messages by unchecking the checkbox under the ‘Send photo’ button

To send a photo on AsiaCharm, navigate to the 'Messages' tab (you can find it at the top of the page). Access the list of members located on the left side of the screen to find the member to whom you wish to send a photo.

Click the 'Send photo' button and select the photo you want to send. 

Alternatively, you can go to the 'Full chat history' with a member and upload any picture there.

With the site’s “Flowers and Presents” delivery service, you can exchange flowers, perfumes, fruit baskets, teddy bears, chocolates, and gift cards with a personalised greeting.

To send a present or flowers, go to the member’s profile page. Under the chatbox, you can see the ‘Flowers and Presents’ button. Click the button and a page with a selection of gifts will open. Select the gifts you want to send, write a postcard message, and click the 'Order' button at the bottom of the page. 

If you are having trouble sending messages (e.g. messages disappear), check your credits balance. It costs 2 credits per minute for chats and 10 credits for the first letter plus 30 credits for each consecutive letter.

Note that the chat option is only available when members are online. You can send letters to members at any time, and they will see your correspondence once they log on again. If you’d still like to send a chat message while the member is offline, go to the Messages section and enter the member’s name in the search field located on the left side of the page.

If you can’t send an email, be informed that the site has a minimum of 150 characters and a maximum of 3500 characters requirement for each letter. Until your message is at least 150 characters long, the 'Send' button will remain inactive.

The most common reason for declining a request is an unwillingness to share contact information, preferring to get to know you better before continuing your communication via email or phone.

In such cases, it would be advisable to contact the member directly. 

AsiaCharm’s search engine allows you to browse a vast range of members. Alternatively, you can narrow your search results to a specific set of members. To search for a partner, you can use any of the following options: 

• Homepage Search: This allows you to quickly find members by age
• Extended Search: This provides you more advanced search options, such as country, city, height, education, occupation, marital status, etc.
• Member ID: Type in her exclusive Member ID in the relevant search box
• Online Now: You can search for members who are currently online by choosing the 'Online' option on your homepage

Once you select your search criteria, click the 'Show Matches' button.

The easiest way to ensure you are able to find a potential match again is to add them to your Favourites list. Of course, if you are truly interested, don’t hesitate to write them a message or send them a wink or a like.

You can easily browse profiles for free. However, to access the premium features such as viewing private photos, chatting with other members, exchange contact details, order a gift delivery, you will need to purchase credits in separate packages. 

The first package of 20 credits gives you the basic access to communication features of the site as well as the ability to purchase bigger credit packages. You can choose among various packages ranging from 20 to 750 credits.

To make a payment, navigate to the 'Credits' tab or press the 'Upgrade' button. If you have complimentary credits, you must spend them first. After spending these credits, visit the 'Credits' page and press 'Buy more credits' button, choose the payment method, and enter your credit card information in the appropriate fields.

The site does not offer monthly subscription or membership. Once you’ve spent your purchased credits, you will need to make a new payment to continue using the website. To check the credits balance, you can go to the 'Credits' tab.

Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Maestro credit or debit cards. For some countries, PayPal, CCBill, Sofort, and iDeal are also available. Keep in mind that your card should be eligible for international purchases. 

All your purchases are reflected in the special section located at your 'Profile Settings'. To the right of the 'Credits' tab, you can see a Portrait icon and an arrow pointing downward. 

Click the Portrait icon to open a drop-down menu. There, you can find the 'My profile settings' option. At the bottom of the page, click on the 'My Payments' section to view your payment history.

You may review the site’s Refund Policy. Once you are notified that you are eligible to receive a refund, contact the Support Team, which is available 24/7, and specify your issue. Depending on your payment provider, it may take up to five business days for the refunded credit to appear on your account.

Your ID Verification has been declined by the site’s moderation team for one or more of the following reasons:

• You need to upload the documents in a better quality 
• You need to upload the signed ID Confirmation form 
• You didn’t sign the ID Confirmation form
• You didn’t upload the copy in the appropriate field
• You didn’t provide IMBRA verification form (applies only to the U.S. citizens and residents)
• You didn’t upload a document that is valid for 6+ months from today’s date
• You didn’t upload a legitimate ID (e.g. passport, driver’s license)

If none of the above reasons apply, you may try uploading your ID again. If your request is still denied, you may contact support@asiacharm.com.

For security and moderation purposes, the site requires an ID confirmation procedure, ensuring that all members are authentic and verified. Once you have confirmed your identity, you will be able to:

• Request contact information of the website members
• Arrange dates with members offline
• Track the credits spent on a specific member

To verify your ID, do the following: 

• Log in to your account
• Click the Portrait icon and select 'ID confirmation' from the drop-down menu
• Click to 'ID Confirmation form'
• Print it, sign it, and scan or take a photo of every signed page
• Scan or take a photo of your ID or any document containing your name, photo, and citizenship. Your ID should be valid for more than 6 months from the moment of sending. Please make sure the text on your photos is clear and readable
• Click on 'Click to select file', select the images of the signed 'ID Confirmation form', and click 'Submit'

The site does not read chat messages between members, and it guarantees that your correspondence is completely private. You may review the site’s Privacy Policy to make sure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password that you designate during the registration process, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username and password.

In case of any unauthorised use of your username or password or any other breach of security, change your password and contact the site’s Support Team.

You can change your password at any time. After you’ve logged in to your account, click the Portrait icon and select 'Account settings' from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the page where you will be able to set up a new password. Your old password will not be required.

Also, use particular caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer so that others are not able to view or record your password or other personal information. You are solely responsible for complying with all rules and restrictions governing the use of any public or shared computer.
